TABLET MIC NOT WORKING ON SKYPE DRIVERS
This has nothing to do with device drivers if the mic works in all other apps. After uninstallingĪnd reinstalling the audio device drivers as well updating the device drivers and rolling back to the original drivers.all efforts to get the mic working in Skype failed. My Google Voice Search works fine as well as my voice recorder.this tells me that the hardware and device drivers work fine.but Skype is the only app that does not work. Skype for Business may not have permission to use the microphone.or camera. I have this same problem where the mic no longer works with Skype.

If updating your Mic's driver won't work, I suggest to contact your device manufacturer to check this for you. If you can't hear your voice - your Mic is not working. It will prompt you to record a message, and then play it back for you – so you’ll know right away if your sound is working. You can also check within the Skype app if your Mic is working properly by making a test call. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver. If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.Select Search automatically for updated driver software. But backup everything before you do that.
